Surprisingly good value
We're a new start-up and we needed a website in double quick time on a very limited budget. Nigel @ Grass Media helped us understand what's important in a website and built us a great looking site that we can add to as our business (hopefully) grows and evolves.
Great support, always
We use Grass Media for a number of events websites, some of which have high load traffic and need a lot of attention. Grass Media have always gone above and beyond in helping us maximise our exposure.
Google & Facebook Reviews Combined
Always offers great advice and creates brilliant sites that fit the brief and help you achieve your business goals
Excellent service, always quick to respond and very helpful. Nigel has built both our companies websites and they are everything we wanted. Nothing is ever a problem with him, he even fixes problems when he is on holiday! You wont get better for the price!
Very happy with Nigel and Grass Media Web Design. Excellent service and on the ball. Highly recommend
Refreshingly proffesional service from start to finish. We used Grass Media for the first time when, embarsingly, our last web designer went AWOL leaving us with a broken website. Nigel stepped-in, transferred the broken site to his own servers and had us back up and running in just a few hours. Since then, we've had them re-design our site from the bottom up and we're delighted with the results. What's more, we're now getting at least double the number of customer enquiries from the site and that's what really matters to us.
Nigel is helpful and very approachable, a font of technical knowledge no less.

So I ordered my glasses 3 weeks ago spent 60 mins in a queue on the phone waiting to get through to customer services ! Advice Don’t even bother with customer services So I have had no update from glasses direct since I ordered my glasses but have been spammed relentlessly with offers discounts and forever being told that you can get glasses within 7 to 14 days - well it’s been just shy of 21 days and zero response ! Customer services are a shambles and so-obviously outsourced it’s painful After being promised a call back or at least an update I’m left waiting - I have given the company until Monday to deliver or I want my money back …. My advice go To your local opticians Glasses direct do not seem to be able to live up to the TV adverts
Always great feedback when I order glasses from glassesdirect. Professional, and good timeline for ordering to making and receiving the glasses. Quality made as well. Will continue to order in the future.
I have to say I was quite excited to use Glasses Direct as my partner did , not so long ago and everything was peachy for him. Not so much for me. I have picked my glasses, was very happy to receive 40% off as first customer on top of it too ! Unfortunately it took them over two weeks to send me my glasses. I had to chase the customer service and by the time they have replied my glasses arrived ( what a waste of time) . The fames were lovely but I knew from the beginning something was off with my prescription as they kept making me sick. I read on thier website that I can take a while to adjust. But this is not my first pair of glasses. I am not new to this game. I have tried for a week and clearly my prescription was incorrect ,so I have sent them back to be checked. After another very looooong wait they have finally contacted me just to say they found nothing wrong and maybe my optician made a mistake . I have not been asked to send them my pupillary distance at any point nor they have even considered THIS to be an issue. I got fed up to be honest as it has been weeks of me waiting around not getting anywhere, waiting for my freaking glasses I have paid for to be able to see properly. Luckily they have offered me a full refund . To sum up I really do not think the cheaper frames are worth the hassle , waiting for weeks and potentially getting glasses which are clearly not suitable for you. Just go and get them at your opticians the quality is guaranteed there. I went to the standard highstreet opticians, swift service, got my glasses within a week and no issues at all. Lesson learnt.

Excellent drying rack - super sturdy all things considered for the size and being collapsible after all. No rust or scratching on the white coating after a year of use. I love it!
Sturdy, love it. Serves its purpose. Have had a wooden one for over 10 years and needed to upgrade it. Seems little bigger but doesn’t take up anymore room than old one. Love how sturdy it is. It does click into place and I just leave it up. Not as easy to collapse as my wooden one so not sure I'd like it as much if I couldn’t keep it up all of the time. A great drying rack for clothes that I only half dry!
So many of my clothes can't go in the dryer. I really needed a drying rack. I had one I purchased at Walmart and it was a pain in the neck to set up. All of the rods kept coming off and eventually the plastic insets on the sides cracked and broke. This rack has stable rods and all you have to do is press the top part on to one rod and you are done. Folds up small too. I wish I had known about this one to begin with.
I bought this 2 days before I came down with Covid. And let me just say, it's been a God send. Why? Because our dryer broke in November and we haven't replaced it yet. So I've been going 2-3 times a week to a laundromat to dry our clothes. Hard to do with Covid...forget that I was contagious...walking more than 10 steps in a row was a push for a few days. But, I could still do a load of laundry (because lucky me, only "I" got sick...not my husband or daughter!) and hang it to dry on this rack. Now, it's not the super sturdy rack, but it did the trick. I've probably done 20 loads of laundry and hung it all to dry on here since the beginning of January! And since I'm better now, I finally did all the bedding and ran that to the laundromat...but I'm doing slightly smaller loads than I'd normally do and continue to hang the clothes to dry. It's handy, they dry overnight and I don't have to worry about getting to the laundromat before 6:30 when they lock the doors! So this was worth every penny (and it was only @ $38...so not terribly expensive!) and within the next couple of weeks...it'll have paid for itself with saving me gas and quarters. And even though I didn't plan on it, I managed to dry my king sized sheets on it, too - I did have to fold them in half, but they still dried and smell great. I'm VERY glad I bought this!
I really like the basics brand and this didn’t disappoint. I’ve been using this style rack for 30 years and needed to replace a broken wooden one I’ve had for a long time. This is solid. It’s metal construction and seems well made. 5 stars.
I have been washing my Mom's clothing and instead of taking items to the dry cleaners, I have been washing in lingerie bags and lying flat to dry. I only had 2 spots to lay a sweater flat to dry. This laundry rack opens up the possibilities. I place two hand towels over 2 rungs on the top and lay a heavy sweater on top of each towel with arms draped over sides. It set up easy and is very sturdy. I move it out of the shower without collapsing and it stays together.
On top of a tree, the tree house is the most spectacular place that i have ever seen in my life. The tree house has a bathroom in the first floor and the bed room in the second floor. The wash room is beyond anyone's imagination. Its open to the sky with plants inside it giving a midas touch of class and elegance. You will just fall in love with the tree house the moment you see it. Its just a masterpiece. Its not only the place that will have an everlasting impression but the staff. They are simply outstanding and they will just blow your mind with there hospitality. Shehza and Ambili were just outstanding. You will fall in love with the food. Praveen(chef) will spoil you with his tasty dishes during your course of stay. You can't help but just savior it as you will definitely add a lot of calories :). This is a place that i would like visit anytime again not just because of its beauty but also of the great hospitality and the wonderful hosts.
The place is about +1 hour drive from Munnar, but the drive to the place is amazing. We stayed for a couple of nights and it was an outstanding and unique but yet an authentic experience of a stay in treehouse. It was great to see the whole team willing to walk that extra mile to make guests stay memorable as well as were indulged with guests to make sure everyone was attended to in-person. Special thanks to Roopa, Shehza and Aman, for making the stay experience amazing, thanks to Ajay and Amma in kitchen for the nice food and to Mukesh for the being our guide and showing us the local hidden gems. We definitely will visit you guys again, and it won’t be just because of the superb property you got, but for the experience we had. Congratulations to you guys for being such a good team.
I would really like to appreciate how wonderful our stay was.I did not expect the place to be this magical. We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and comfortable to stay.Especially ,I would like to visit again only for the people there. They are very kind and helpful. They make soul touching food which made us not to step out of the place anywhere. The people who cook and serve there , did it with so much love and kindness. We loved how ambili helped us through everything. She is a great delight to talk. I will definitely visit again tomorrow when I’m back in India.
Erumadam was beyond anything we could have imagined. Perched on a tree, the entire structure is made using eucalyptus waste wood (the structure has negative carbon emission). It has 2 levels: a balcony and open roof washroom on the first level and the bedroom on the second level. We spend most of the day lounging in the balcony. Even during the afternoons when its quite sunny, the balcony has cool wind and a beautiful view. The bathroom is straight out of a Bali album, with outdoor plants and shower coming out of a wooden plank. Bathroom was the highlight of our stay. The bedroom is cosy and will wake you upto a gorgeous sunrise. Birds will sing around you and will make you forget you are among other people. We had some issues with insects inside the bedroom after sunset, but it can only be expected with the forest being so close. The solution ofcourse was to adapt to living on top of the tree with the lights all switched off, truly like in the olden days. At one point, we were greeted by a few fireflies inside, which just made the night more dreamy. For an authentic, sustainable stay such as this, every penny we spend was worth it and more. The cherry on top was of course, the hospitality. The staff are really courteous and will truly make you feel at home.
This 2 storied tree house - with bathroom and balcony in the first and the bedroom in the 2nd - is the fanciest I have ever stayed in. What makes this treehouse oh-so-fancy is the bathroom! Open to the sky and with plants lining the insides of the bathroom, this must truly go down as one of prettiest bathrooms in the world! The balcony has the best views of the distant mountains.. can just sit there and rot away to glory! Just sitting there and sipping on a cup of tea is so relaxing and peaceful. The cozy little bedroom is tastefully done and has a fairy tale-ish feeling to it. But just watch your step if you are drunk and need to attend an urgent nature’s call in the middle of the night But the service of Shehza, Aman and Roopa leave a much lasting impression on your stay. They are with you, always, assisting you with your plans and your needs. Loved the local cuisine being served. WARNING - You will go back adding a few pounds.
Erumadam was a beautiful and tastefully done treehouse- my husband and I spent our first anniversary here and were so glad we chose The Mudhouse Marayoor! The view from the treehouse is gorgeous- you can see the sun rising over the hills right from your bed. The outdoor shower was also lovely- on one of the days of our stay, it rained, and it just added to the outdoor shower experience! The food at the property is excellent and homely, the staff are accommodating and always have a smile on their faces. As mentioned, it rained during one day of our stay, so we couldn't explore too much of the surrounding area. However, it was just as wonderful sitting on the sit out of the treehouse and watching the rain while reading a book with a hot cup of chai. The sit out was my favourite part of the treehouse! We did however get to go on both the River walk as well as the Sunrise peak walk- both of which we highly recommend. One point to note is that the resort currently offers communal dining which might not be comfortable for some during COVID times. However, have given this feedback to Ajith who has taken it on board. Highly recommend this stay for anyone who loves nature and a quiet, offbeat experience in the beautiful Western Ghats.
